Syzygy takes its name from a Greek word meaning yoke-fellow or co-worker, as found in Philippians 4:3. The point being made is that the burden of Christian mission should fall on the shoulders of the entire church, not just those who are able and willing to go into frontline service.  Those in the field are not ploughing alone – we share their burden.

Syzygy’s four directors all have personal experience of cross-cultural missions and bring a variety of skills and experience to enable our work with others to be effective. We are:
